Academic Journey

Our CEO's academic journey is as remarkable as his professional one. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cyprus in 2013, demonstrating academic excellence with an impressive GPA of 8.23 out of 10. Post-graduation, he had the opportunity to join the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at the same university. There, under the esteemed supervision of Dr. Stylianopoulos, he embarked on his PhD studies.

In March 2018, he transitioned into a pivotal role as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Cancer Biophysics Laboratory. His steadfast dedication and innovative approach to research culminated in a prestigious award in 2021 - a highly competitive 3-year Marie Skłodowska-Curie individual fellowship-Global (€256,236, MSCA-IF-GF-2020-101028945 CancerCOtreat). This award was supervised by both Dr. Stylianopoulos and Professor Jain at Harvard Medical School.

His research primarily revolves around understanding the mechanics of solid tumors and designing innovative drug delivery strategies to inhibit tumor growth and metastasis. Through these accomplishments, he has continually demonstrated his commitment to advancing the field of cancer treatment and biomedical research.
